From 30fba6210834a4ecd91badf0c8f3eb278b72e746 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Patrick Cloke Date: Wed, 2 Dec 2020 11:09:24 -0500 Subject: Apply an IP range blacklist to push and key revocation requests. (#8821) Replaces the `federation_ip_range_blacklist` configuration setting with an `ip_range_blacklist` setting with wider scope. It now applies to: * Federation * Identity servers * Push notifications * Checking key validitity for third-party invite events The old `federation_ip_range_blacklist` setting is still honored if present, but with reduced scope (it only applies to federation and identity servers). --- synapse/federation/transport/client.py | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'synapse/federation/transport/client.py') diff --git a/synapse/federation/transport/client.py b/synapse/federation/transport/client.py index 17a10f622e..abe9168c78 100644 --- a/synapse/federation/transport/client.py +++ b/synapse/federation/transport/client.py @@ -35,7 +35,7 @@ class TransportLayerClient: def __init__(self, hs): self.server_name = hs.hostname - self.client = hs.get_http_client() + self.client = hs.get_federation_http_client() @log_function def get_room_state_ids(self, destination, room_id, event_id): -- cgit 1.4.1
