From 807ec3bd99908d2991d2b3d0615b0862610c6dc3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Richard van der Hoff <1389908+richvdh@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Wed, 6 Nov 2019 10:01:39 +0000 Subject: Fix bug which caused rejected events to be stored with the wrong room state (#6320) Fixes a bug where rejected events were persisted with the wrong state group. Also fixes an occasional internal-server-error when receiving events over federation which are rejected and (possibly because they are backwards-extremities) have no prev_group. Fixes #6289. --- synapse/events/snapshot.py | 25 +++++++++++++++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 23 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'synapse/events') diff --git a/synapse/events/snapshot.py b/synapse/events/snapshot.py index 0f3c5989cb..64e898f40c 100644 --- a/synapse/events/snapshot.py +++ b/synapse/events/snapshot.py @@ -48,10 +48,21 @@ class EventContext: Note that this is a private attribute: it should be accessed via the ``state_group`` property. + state_group_before_event: The ID of the state group representing the state + of the room before this event. + + If this is a non-state event, this will be the same as ``state_group``.
