From e8519e0ed289b67fa07c1bdbb6898852dc1a50b9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jan Schär Date: Mon, 25 Jul 2022 17:27:19 +0200 Subject: Support Implicit TLS for sending emails (#13317) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Previously, TLS could only be used with STARTTLS. Add a new option `force_tls`, where TLS is used from the start. Implicit TLS is recommended over STARTLS, see https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8314 Fixes #8046.
